Excerpt: In order to determine the nature and content of a particular course of studies and the pedagogical procedures necessary to achieve the objectives of any part of the curriculum of the elementary and secondary school, we are in need of a frame of reference. For any particular course of studies is always the more or less conscious and more or less logical outworking of a specific view of man and education. The purpose of this paper is to explore the implications of a Christian view of man and education for a specific course of studies.
