The question of origins, as it relates to the natural world, is a hotly contested subject matter within the Christian community. Various theories have been put forth, such as Progressive Creationism, Theistic Evolution, and Walton’s Functionalism. In most cases, Christians have allowed the secularized natural sciences to inform our interpretation of Scripture as it relates to origins. But what if we allowed the Scriptures to speak for themselves as the only authoritative interpretation of reality?
