In a few hours, voters in Rajasthan, India, will assert their sovereignty. They will vote to elect their rulers and to hold them accountable. They do not know the Lamb who shed his blood to purchase Satan’s slaves to make them God’s sons. They have never heard that kingship is sonship, that the Savior offers; Or, that “popular sovereignty” is sustained only if the King’s sons do their Father’s will.
Sovereign citizens have already voted in four states: Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. All the reports say that the voters have rejected Hindutva’s intolerable slavery. The Exit Polls should be available in 12-hours. Final results are scheduled for December 3.
A few months ago, the experts thought that Rajasthan will choose to be governed by the BJP’s spirituality of hate. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his militant party — the BJP — did play the “Hate” card fairly effectively. Yet, now the experts are telling us that the momentum seems to be favoring Rahul Gandhi’s call for love and harmony. The Social Media reports imply that in the end, Independent Legislators may determine who will govern Rajasthan.
In any case, without an absolute majority, numerical advantage alone will only intensify the BJP’s problems:
- Making a “high” caste queen, Vasundhra Raje, the Chief Minister will reinforce the popular perception that the BJP is an upper caste party. That will damage Modi’s own election in 2024.
- Not making the “Queen” the Chief Minister could split the BJP, at least after the 2024 National Elections.
Without a clear verdict, Rajasthan may remain a muddle for six more months. Yet, the BJPs decisive defeat in the other four states will be enough to change India.
BJP’s defeat will embolden the Supreme Court to speed up the cases pending against the Modi government, his party, business partners, media houses, and (the abuse of) public institutions such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Election Commission, financial institutions including banks, Life Insurance etc. Intelligence, police, and courts to persecute and harass political opposition, the free press and religious minorities.
Modi’s defeat in these state elections will demonstrate that the “Hate non-Hindus” card is losing its effectiveness. That means, the BJP has to reinvent itself. It has to put on the mask of a party that cares for the Backward castes. That will require moving UP’s militant Chief Minister, Yogi, to Delhi. It will mandate installing a Backward Caste Chief Minister in Lucknow.
BJP’s defeat on December 3 will liberate civil servants, police, judiciary, businessmen, and the press from fear-induced paralysis. It will demoralize the BJP cadre and could compel the militant Hindu family, the Sangh Parivar, to free itself from the “Gujarat Lobby” which has outlived its utility.
YET, not all the consequences of Congress’ victory will be positive . . . plenty of criminals, corrupt officers, media men and power-hungry politicians will join or support the Congress Party.
December 3 will change India for a while . . . but, only Truth can transform India. Without “self-government”, “We the people” (that is the Voters) will lose our sovereignty. A people that cannot govern themselves cannot govern their families, communities or nations. They cannot govern a great nation. That is why “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… and the fountain of life.”
