The Niagara Conference 2024 is an annual event organized by the Cántaro Institute. This year’s conference, Post Tenebras Lux: Light after Darkness, honours God’s past doings in the protestant reformation and what we can learn for our living today.

Niagara Conference 2024

In the year 1517, a German monk named Martin Luther nailed to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany, his 95 Theses, protesting against the practice of the sale of indulgences. Little did Luther know that what was meant to be an open invitation to academic debate would spark the flame of the protestant reformation. God has brought about the reformation of His church, a reformation that still goes on today. As we look back at the sixteenth-century reformation, we can honour God’s past doings and apply our learnings for our living today.
